Have you ever looked at your Facebook or Instagram Insights?
It can seem drab and boring, but the insights and the amount of information you can get from them is large and varied.
Insights and looking at them helps make sure you are on the right track. It helps you check your progress. You want to make sure you are progressing. This helps you ensure you are getting closer to your goals.
Facebook is changing and adapting all the time. By keeping an eye on our insights we make sure we stay on track and keep the consistency up.
Insights help you track and measure results. You measure your return on investment. Even though the work we do is all organic and unpaid, it still is your time that you are investing. For your time you need to make sure you are on the right track.
Insights help you understand who's interacting with your page. This helps us to create relevant content along the way and to get the Algorithm working for us.
The most basic insight to look at is your overview. Here you can track your page views and your page previews. It helps you track your page likes, post reach, story reach and recommendations. You can checkout your engagements. Your video views where we want to try to get more 10 second views to help tickle the Algorithm's fancy.
Check out the Posts section. This gives you insights on when your fans are online. Post types which tells you The success of different post types based on average reach and engagement.

You can track the insights on your stories. This helps you with your time management as you need to be sure the work you are doing is getting you some results.
There is a Top posts from pages you watch. This creates opportunity to stalk your competitors and see which posts they are having success with.
